Influence of Paternalistic Leadership on Employee Innovation Behavior and New Venture Performance: The Moderating Role of Leader Humility

This study examines how paternalistic leadership in new ventures influences employee innovation behavior and venture performance. Three dimensions of leader humility have a positive moderating effect on behavior. To this end, we proposed tested the supporting roles social cognition theory, exchange learning interpersonal attraction theory. A total 248 valid questionnaires were collected through professional survey company for analysis, which revealed that among three leadership, benevolent moral both impact performance, while authoritarian has negative impact.
